Somatic & Relationship Empowerment Consultation Groups

Hi! I'm Rebekah Miller, LMFT, SEP. I have found that integrating Somatics + Relationship Empowerment leads to feeling more Embodied & Alive. I guide the learning with gentleness, curiosity, and honoring your lived experiences. Please email with questions rmiller@wellnesscounselingmn.com or click below to join the waitlist.

I would love to guide you to integrate: Education, Somatic and Attachment Modalities, & Relationship Empowerment strategies into your life and work.

There are so many excellent approaches to learn, but we can’t invest in every multi-year training program.

My goal is to make valuable tools from complex modalities more accessible to more therapists.

The somatic and relationship empowerment consultation groups integrate and draw primarily on my training in Somatic Experiencing (SE), Integral Somatic Psychology (ISP/emotional embodiment), and Relational Life Therapy (RLT). My work is also heavily influenced by Julianne Taylor Shore’s work on interpersonal neurobiology and boundaries, Abi Blakeslee and Dave Berger’s somatic Rupture and Repair workshop, and Diane Poole Heller’s books on working with attachment styles.

Upcoming Consultation Group Details

  • Monthly online over zoom

  • 3rd Wednesday of the month, 10am-12pm CST, starting 6/19/2024

  • Cost: $150 per group

  • Group limit: 6 participants

How We Explore

  • This group will include a combination of psychoeducation and experiential learning while we consult

  • Participants will learn to explore and regulate their own somatic responses to clients, as well as expand stuck or defended emotions that contribute to depletion in our healing work.

  • You will be invited to hold a curious, non-judgmental stance toward your own and your clients' somatic responses

  • This will involve self-therapist work in the group and will teach somatic strategies experientially that can build nervous system resilience and then be used to support our clients.

Commitment to Inclusion & Facilitation of Safety and Repair

This group is welcoming and inclusive for all. We will practice a stance that privileges the "knowing" and wisdom of our clients, practice curiosity, cultural humility, and reflections on how to share our power with our clients. We will invite and explore themes of navigating privilege, power, marginalization and oppression as we consult. A repair process will be invited and practiced when needed.
